R.I.P Elizabeth Taylor

Watched a documentary on her. From what I can tell, she was a lovely woman. 

Sometimes it scares me how little motivation I have. I think I'm beginning to face a reality I would rather not. I never have, and never will, have a liking for dependency. And that is just what my life is making itself out to be. Dependent. On several things. Mostly things that are out of my control. Oh God...

dinner was nice.

I am inspired by peoples' lives. When someone opens up to me about their past. Lets me carry the baggage with them. Tells me they can relate to my baggage as well. It's relieving to figure out there is no shame in honesty. I cannot believe the ever out-pouring grace of God and how well He can pull us out of our deepest mud that we call our lives. He never looks back.
He has redeemed the irredeemable.
Cheers to seeing this first hand and cheers to new friends.

Home made book box

This was a verrrry belated Christmas gift to my bestie Lauren. I picked up this old (German) book from Black Swan Bookstore downtown a little while ago and started cutting at it. I like the way it turned out, pretty cool :)

The pages are glued together and I put watered down acrylic along the bottom. I wanted some of the little German words peeking through. She loved it.

Finally got my art up from Christmas.

And here is my new desk

Fingers freezing off. Lying on tracks as a nameless train approaches with no idea who or where or what. It is actually a pleasant feeling when you're not tied down to the tracks by some Western villain who most likely has a friendly mustache. But don't pay attention to his facial hair because V is for vendetta. How a 'choo choo' can bring great anticipation and we find ourselves so lucky. Rain hitting my face makes me squint--and oh I needed{so}an{we}adventure{found}tonight{one}. Bon voyage.
