Home made book box

This was a verrrry belated Christmas gift to my bestie Lauren. I picked up this old (German) book from Black Swan Bookstore downtown a little while ago and started cutting at it. I like the way it turned out, pretty cool :)

The pages are glued together and I put watered down acrylic along the bottom. I wanted some of the little German words peeking through. She loved it.

Finally got my art up from Christmas.

And here is my new desk

Mess of glory. I've taken one or two trips to Hobby Lobby :)
